Laptop chargers.

Charging laptops at school.

• What are the negatives of Rimu students charging their laptops at school?

It costs lots of monetary wealth.
There are cords every where.
Every one will end up with chargers.
People will be lazy and not charge their laptops at home.

• What are 2 of the suggestions for solving the problems?

That you can only charge your laptop in the afternoon.
Go to the teacher and say what percent your laptop is on and if you can charge your laptop.

• What is my opinion about this?

Well Where does the $100 fee go to? Not every one (129 students)  is going to be charging their laptops all day so the estimate of $40,000 is way off. Some people's batteries don't last all day. At this rate half of the students in the computer class will be working on paper half the time. Also the teachers are allowed to charge their laptops so why don't they charge them at night. I say I we can't charge our laptops and have to work on paper then nether should the teachers, because they won't have a computer class to teach.

  1. I'm curious how the amount of $40,000 was estimated for charging the laptops was calculated. How much power does it take to charge a laptop fully?
