Today we went to TGC (Tauranga Girls College). We got to sit in the hall and then be shown around by the year tens. The school was really big, luckily they gave us a map. Sadly, apparently we were supposed to get juice and cookies but we didn't.
It was really cool seeing inside the school. Most of the people were from TGC but there were a few others from other schools.
We got to meet the head girl for next year, her name was Adriana Bird.
Mrs Ferguson was the Deputy principal. We also got to meet our deens again. ( Mrs Glaser Brown & Mrs Keightly).
Other than that I can't remember other names.

Watership Down.
A review should include:
• Plot but not ending
• Title/Name/Author/Director/background info
• Main character: protagonist
• My opinion/judgment
• Who the audience is.
Watership Down.
Although I read this long ago, I still sorta remember it. It was a fantastic tale, regarding a warren of bunnies, who escape being killed by humans. It is a very good book, with in depth characters. The description of the characters and their surroundings was was great.
Written by Richard Adams and published by Rex Collings Ltd of London in 1972.
Watership Down was Richard Adams first novel. It is at the moment his most successful novel. It has won the Carnegie Medal & Guardian Prize, and more.
Fiver who is a young runt, is also a seer & sees the future of his warrens destruction. With Hazel his brother, they try to convince the chief rabbit. When that doesn't work they set off with a small band, narrowly missing the warrens military.
It is a gripping tale, that I would rate a 5/5. I would recommend it for years 12 and up, as it does contain some violence, but other than that it would be a book for everybody. Not just girls as the rabbits turn more into people than just rabbits.

Dystopian Picture
You can smell that petrol smell, thats mixed in with the black thick smoke making you splutter. That thick smog making you forget the smell of fresh air.
The cars roaring their engines as impatient as a child on christmas morning. The horns tooting at the backed up traffic. The radio droning on, playing songs that are as catchy as a broken record.
The red brake lights going on till the end of the rainbow, thats covered by the thick dark cloud, overriding the sun. Cars of all kinds all covered by a light layer of dust thats as black as coal.
The bitter taste in your mouth, constantly coughing and spluttering. The backup of cars, filling the air with some making it hard to breath.

Original similes.
As annoying as google giving you irrelevant information.
As peaceful as a frog relaxing in a pond.
As lucky as
As hot as a motor after a drive.
As industrious as a beaver in the autumn.
As clueless as
As brilliant as when the clouds are struck with silver after being caught with light in a sunset,
As colourful as light dancing on an oil puddle.
As energetic as fish forever darting to and fro.

Dialogue
1, Hand in hand an elderly couple strolled through a park, the trees bear with the autem.
"Oh its cold isn't it."
"Yes but don't you love the trees this time of year."
"Yes its so still and peaceful."
"Apart from that breeze."
"Lets go and have a cuppa tea."
2, "Mum, come on I do the printing and I try to do well in school, can't you give me a raise."
"No, you get enough for what little you do."
"WHAT? I do heaps of stuff. You give me a whole bunch of jobs the go 'Oh why haven't you done this yet, go to your room.' SRSLY."
"I don't care, just do the jobs."
"I've already done them, jeez."
3, "Hey I'm so much better than you." Taunted Scissors. "Hey well I bet you can't beat rock." Paper taunted back. "Yea but you can't beat scissors." Rock chimed in. "Yeah but you can't beat, me, paper." "You'll never-ssss beat me-ssssss." Lizard hissed. "Pfff stop fighting we are all the same." Spock monotonically said

12 Hour Relay Disaster
There was a massive crack and a reverberating boom... The ground split open, lava and fire spewing from within. The screaming was deafening as everyone ran from the great chasm From the pit something started to emerge. It reared it's massive head and bellowed a fearsome roar. Two massive feet, molten lava claws clawing the ground. It raised it's slivering body, the fire licking it's scales. It's tail flicked revealing a molten barbs, the end a fire point. It bellowed another roar, and in a deep growly voice, "Stop, one shall be chosen." The multi coloured mob of t-shirts ran faster, only I saw the charm hanging from it's claw. I still ran, not knowing it's purpose. It clambered out of the chasm in rage, tearing and biting at the banners and tents. Suddenly I was blinded I fell to the ground. Dizzily I could see around but a fierce pain flashed in my temple. I tried to scramble to my feet, but the exhaustion took me by surprise. In my mind I saw the dragon stretching its wings. "W-What?" I muttered. I rolled over to see the dragon inches from my face. I backed away, my hand landed on something leathery. I tried to scramble away from it but I was unable to move. I rolled over only for it to follow. I realised it was part of me, these green, teal, leathery wings.
"You are the chosen one," His gruff voice stated as gasped in awe.

Poem
Waimarino,
Gelid river,
A day of fun,
Kayaking on the water,
Chasing the ducks quack quack,
Everyone capsizing in the freezing water,
Just paddling round going backwards,
In the tepid pool,
Relaxing steamy water,
Slippery slide,
Jollifaction.

I am a Bever. This means I'm hard working and a perfectionist. I like to work out how things work. I like to get things right, but have fun while doing it. I'm also 19% lion, 28% Golden retriever, and 21% Otter. An Otter just has fun, Lions are leaders & Golden retrievers are nice.
The four messages that Dave -the man speaking- gave us was, Dump Dumb Thoughts, Help Others, Do The Right Thing, Try Something New.

12 hour relay
1st of November,
Was the day,
That 12 hour relay came out to play.
The fun run was first,
Although my feet hurt,
I had to continue the day.
Next was top town,
Activities and fun,
Wet and dry,
Playing under the sun.
Relaxing with a concert,
The way to end the day,
Lunch and morning tea,
Really the place to be,
Deals were steals,
