Third world countries.

A third world country is a country that is poor and in poverty, these are like in some places in Africa. Turkmenistan is one of these.
A second world country is generally in the middle of war, just like Afghanistan.
A first world country is like New Zealand and America.

Turkmenistan is a third world country, whereas New Zealand is a first world country. Turkmenistan is by Iran & Afghanistan. In Turkmenistan they speak Turkmen, but in Iran they speak Persian. Turkmenistan seems like quite a large country, it's 188,456 sq Miles or 488,100 Km^2. New Zealand is nearly half Turkmenistan's size.
So far it is known that 5.173 million people live in Turkmenistan. But 4.433 people live in New Zealand.

A good measure of poverty is GDP. This is like the total amount of money a country can earn each year.
