You can smell that petrol smell, thats mixed in with the black thick smoke making you splutter. That thick smog making you forget the smell of fresh air.
The cars roaring their engines as impatient as a child on christmas morning. The horns tooting at the backed up traffic. The radio droning on, playing songs that are as catchy as a broken record.
The red brake lights going on till the end of the rainbow, thats covered by the thick dark cloud, overriding the sun. Cars of all kinds all covered by a light layer of dust thats as black as coal.
The bitter taste in your mouth, constantly coughing and spluttering. The backup of cars, filling the air with some making it hard to breath.

Weldone Catherine!!!!. You did well. I like how you used different words instead of using boring words that primary kid uses :). You did really well similes my favourite was the one that said" The cars roaring their engines as impatient as a child on christmas morning." (That one was good). I liked it very much Nice job :)
