Mum and I visited the tauranga art gallery. We looked at art by Bob Kerr (Hell here now - The Gallipoli Diary of Alfred Cameron). Bob Kerr painted pictures and wrote in a line from Alfred Camerons journal.
We also looked at 'Now & Then' which is photos from different decades. There was also 'The state of the house' by Raye Catran which was lots of paintings of houses. The last two were 'Wayne Youle' & 'Collecting Robin White'.
I didn't really enjoy this exhibit as I didn't get pretty much any of the paintings or photos.
I would have liked to hear a bit more about Bob Kerr's paintings. What were they supposed to be about? What kind of media did he use? And who is Alfred Cameron? There are a large number of spelling mistakes and missing capitals which need fixing up. I think you put less effort into this post because you didn't enjoy the exhibition??
